Atlanta Music Project (AMP) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide tuition-free musical education for underserved youth right in their neighborhood. The school believes that the pursuit of musical excellence leads to the development of confidence, creativity and ambition. Students are trained in music theory, orchestral, and choral performance as a part of the curriculum.
Strata worked closely with AMP to design cost-effective audio, video and theatrical lighting systems for AMP’s new headquarters located in a 1950’s era grocery store building. The space features a lobby/study area for students, practice rooms and a 150 seat performance space.
The systems are perfectly sized for AMP’s space and budget, and are flexible enough to grow with the school as it serves hundreds of students each year. Strata is proud to have played an integral part in their musical education!
